Midsouth Sober Living (MSL) was established in 2008 by Andy and Pam Branham to provide supportive housing and complementary services to adult men and women in recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Their vision was to create a structured, recovery-focused environment where individuals could rebuild their lives and find lasting sobriety.
In 2013, MSL expanded its impact by opening a women's house on North Parkway, offering specialized support tailored to women in recovery. That same year, Walter Williams was brought on as Executive Director, helping to further strengthen and expand MSL's reach.
In 2016, MSL began serving the Judicare program, providing structured recovery housing for individuals involved in the justice system.
Andy and Walter were both deeply committed to the recovery community, not just as leaders, but as mentors, advocates, and unwavering supporters of those seeking a second chance. Their philosophy was simple—no one in need of help should ever be turned away. Through their open-door approach, hands-on involvement, and tireless dedication, they helped countless individuals find stability, community, and renewed purpose in their lives.
Their impact continues to shape MSL today, inspiring a culture of compassion, accountability, and unwavering support for all who walk through our doors.
